Warren Etheredge is a founding member of TheWarrenReport and the man behind the name. In addition to curating, organizing and hosting all events for TheWarrenReport, Warren is the President and Head of Development for LOCKSPRING PICTURES. For six years, Warren served as the Curator for the 1 Reel Film Festival (at Bumbershoot) —the nation`s best-attended celebration of short films. Warren is also one of the founding faculty of TheFilmSchool, Seattle`s populist response to the Sundance Institute. From 1997-2000, he worked for Cinema Seattle— producers and organizers of the Seattle International Film Festival. For two years, he was the Host and Curator of SNEAK, a monthly screening series on independent and arthouse flicks. Warren has appeared in four feature films: THE BRIER BITCH PROJECT, JERKBEAST, POLTERCHRIST and THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY. (But, please, don`t call him an actor.) Born and raised in New York City, Warren has written for the Viacom family of cable stations. As a writer and/or director, he has staged over 40 theatrical productions, including THIS IS WHERE I GET OFF starring Beth Littleford and BALLET OF THE BEAST. Just for kicks, he served as the Artistic Director for Rabbit Ahead Productions, The Vox Theater Company and The Actors Theater Group. What`s more, he`s penned 5 books, several short films and countless magazine articles. Warren, an ordained reverend, is available for weddings, funerals and special events at petting zoos. |
